LumaKa Ventures, LLC (“LumaKa,” “we,” “us”) operates the Price For Profit™ mobile application and the website at LumaKaTechnologies.com This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
The short version
We collect the minimum we need to run the app. We don’t sell your information. We don’t connect to your Etsy, Shopify, or any other selling account, and we have no access to your sales. The product costs and prices you enter are yours.
Information you give us
Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and [any other account fields]. We use it to sign you in, to respond when you contact us, and to send you service messages about the app.
The information you enter in the app. Materials, costs, labor rates, products, marketplaces, fees, and prices. This is your business data. We store it so the app can show it back to you across your devices. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers.
Waitlist and mailing list. If you give us your email on our website, we use it to tell you when the app launches and to send occasional messages about the product. Every message has an unsubscribe link and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
Support correspondence. If you write to us, we keep the message and our reply so we can follow up.
Information collected automatically
Price For Profit™ is built on the Adalo platform, and the app communicates with Adalo’s servers in order to work. Some information is therefore collected automatically whenever you use it:
• A user ID that identifies your account
• Product interaction data — which screens you open and what you do in the app
• Diagnostic data, including crash and error reports
• Technical information including your IP address, device identifiers, device type and operating system, and access times
• Approximate location, derived from your IP address
We do not collect precise location, and the app never asks for it.
This information is used to run the app, keep it secure, diagnose problems, and improve the product. It is not used for advertising, and it is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
Payments
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple and Google, and managed through [IAPHub]. We receive confirmation that a purchase succeeded and what was purchased. We never see or store your card number. Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies govern how they handle your payment information.
How we use information
To provide the app and keep your data available across your devices. To answer your questions. To fix bugs and understand which parts of the app people actually use. To send you service messages, and marketing messages only if you asked for them. To meet our legal obligations.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only what they need to do that work. Today those are:
• Adalo, Inc. — the platform the app is built on, which hosts the app and stores your account and product data
• IAPHub — subscription and in-app purchase management
• Apple and Google — payment processing for subscriptions, under their own privacy policies
• Google and Mailchimp — sending our launch announcement and any messages you’ve asked for. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety. If the business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of it, and we’ll tell you before that happens.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as your account is open. When you ask us to delete it, we remove your account and its associated data within [30] days, except anything we’re legally required to retain. Backups age out on our normal cycle.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, or export the data in your account from within the app, or by writing to us. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing Support@LumaKaTechnologies.com from your account address. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR, including the right to know what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we won’t tell you otherwise.
Children
Price For Profit™ isn’t directed at children and isn’t intended for anyone under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, write to [support email] and we’ll delete it.
Where your information is stored
Your information is stored and processed in [the United States]. If you use the app from elsewhere, you’re sending your information to [the United States], where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we’ll post the new version here with a new date, and for significant changes we’ll tell you in the app or by email.
